Fun Motifs for Durga Puja Decoration – from kids

Posted in Announcements by Pujari Atlanta on May 21, 2009

Dear Friends,

Summer break is almost here and hope you have tons of fulfilled activities planned with your kids already. We have an interesting and colorful project in mind for our young Pujari patrons, that will keep them busy during their vacation. The decoration team will be looking for Colorful ‘Motif’ Paintings from the kids to decorate the side walls and partitions during Durga Puja. These motifs will be a part of our Durga Puja decoration.

We will be giving out simple yet bold patterns that will have to be drawn out on colored chart paper and painted using water color/acrylic paints. Parents are welcome to help their kids complete this project.

We want this to be a fun project for the youngsters, so that they are able to relate to Durga Puja in a bigger and better way.

Please let me know if your kid/s would be interested to participate by the end of this month; so that I may forward the design and dimensions to you by the first week of June, via email. I know some of you may have already left or will be leaving for India soon. Please feel free to let me know when you are back. Those of you who have already confirmed, you will hear from me soon.

Thanks for your support and hope to hear from you soon.

Warm Regards,

Aradhana Bhattacharya
