Drive to join the Bone Marrow Donor Registry

Dear Friends:

As we all understand, the gift of life is the greatest gift of all. We at Pujari, will be hosting at our upcoming Durga Puja, an extraordinary event, which will give each of us, the opportunity to be such a “giver”. We are planning to host a drive to join the Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

Venue: Berkmar High School, 405 Pleasant Hill Road, Lilburn, Georgia

Date/Time: Sunday, October 2 · 1:00pm – 5:00pm

If you are interested, but do not know what this will entail–the 1st link below has FAQ’s about donation and the 2nd link info about how to join the registry (it is as simple as swabbing the inside of your cheek to give a sample which will be added to the database)

Please please, do consider joining the registry or contributing in other ways (refer to the websites above). Attached is a brief sketch of one of such many patients in need of a transplant. We never know, who and when amongst us may be the next victim. Wouldn’t it be nice to help another human in need, when you can?
