Request for articles for Sharodiya Anjali 2011

Dear Pujari members/Patrons,

We are planning to publish Pujari’s 25th year publication of Sharodiya Anjali  2011. Pujari is urging all its members to contribute to Sharodiya Anjali  2011. Please send in your articles/drawings to us by 12th August  2011.

Here are the simple guidelines to follow:

·         Articles from all ages on all subjects are welcome.

·         Language: Bangla & English

·         Format: Word doc, Bangla font (gmail or bwd format) without any formatting.

·         Please do not send any copyrighted work.  We do not publish articles that have been or may have been published elsewhere, unless by prior agreement.

·         Short story (upto 2 pages)

·         Poems

·         Illustrations/drawings

Last date of submission: 12th August 2011

Reminder: Anjali write-ups

Thanks for all the write-ups that you did send so far. The literary talents in Pujari are so high that it’s a treat for me to go through all the materials. Those of you, who are in the middle of writing, please rush them to me. For those who are yet to start and think that it will take a while to finish, please have them saved for next year’s Anjali.

Let’s close the collection for this year’s Sarodia Anjali by 6th September, 2009.

Anjali write-ups

We are fortunate to have already received literary contributions from two legendary authors, Sunil Gangopadhyay and Shankha Ghosh.

It’s time to finish up our own write-ups and they will get published alongside these greats. Please start sending them over so that we can get a head start on composing Anjali rather than waiting till the last moment.

Sarodia Anjali: your write ups

We are over with three big events in the Pujari yearly calendar. Summer is really on and we enjoyed the summer sun on the picnic day.

It’s time to start preparing for the biggest event in the calendar year. Durga Puja means many things to us. The sound of Dhak, “peja tulo” (white cloud), new cloths, …. and last but not the least Pujobarshiki patro patrika.

Two groups make it a success. The authors and the readers. Since the write ups come before they can be read, let us gear up about writing them up. This year, Pujari Sarodia Anjali will have writings by legendary authors. Your write ups will be published alongside them!
